Prolonged Exposure (PE) therapy is a highly effective, evidence-based treatment for trauma-related disorders, such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). This comprehensive course is designed to equip psychologists with the foundational knowledge and practical skills needed to implement PE therapy effectively. This curriculum provides an overview of the evidence base for PE, step-by-step instructions for implementation, techniques for assessing client readiness and managing resistance, cultural and diversity considerations, and strategies for monitoring treatment outcomes.
